Leica Digital Cameras
Leica Camera was born in 1913 in Wetzlar, Germany as the first practical 35mm camera to use standard cinema 35mm film, moving it horizontally through the camera as opposed to cinema cameras that transported it vertically, resulting in a 35mm frame size of 24x36mm. The first Leica (named after Ernst Leitz II – the Leitz Camera) went into production in 1924 and the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, Leica cameras are available in the UK at Park Cameras where we’re delighted to stock a wide range of cameras, lenses, and accessories including bags, straps and cases.
The Leica digital camera range includes the M and MP range of digital rangefinders (you’ll find these under Digital SLRs), the V-Lux bridge camera, the Leica T range of mirrorless compact system cameras, the excellent D-Lux, Q, X, and C ranges of compact cameras, and the S and S-E series of Leica medium format digital cameras.
