With a folded length of 47 centimeters and a weight of 0.91 kilograms including ball head, the Leofoto LS-224C belongs to the more compact tripods in the Ranger Series. Fully unfolded, the maximum working height of this carbon tripod is 148.5 centimeters. The minimum working height, however, is 13 centimeters! Despite its light weight, this Ranger has a load capacity of 6 kilograms. The tripod comes with a detachable center column, LH-25 ball head, a carrying bag and a multi-tool. Perfect when you are looking for a complete tripod kit to get you started right away!
The Leofoto Ranger Series
The Ranger Series from Leofoto is characterized by unprecedented versatility. Mount the center column on the tripod body for a great maximum height, or leave the center column out for extra stability. With a Ranger tripod, you immediately have everything you need to get started: a sturdy carbon tripod, a versatile and solid ball head and the necessary accessories. Because the legs are adjustable in 3 angles, all Ranger tripods can be used low to the ground. This also makes them extremely suitable for macro photography! The Leofoto Ranger tripods are, like all other Leofoto tripods, made of 10-layer carbon. This makes the tripods lightweight and extremely sturdy and durable. The all-round Ranger LS-224C tripod
The 224C tripod from the Leofoto Ranger Series is versatile. Thanks to its compactness and light weight, this tripod is a great travel companion. Also during a nice walk through a city or in the vast countryside, the LS-224C will not disappoint you. Because the legs are equipped with the Twist-Lock system, the tripod can be folded and unfolded in no time. On the side and bottom of the tripod body you will find threads for such accessory arms, or a sandbag for extra stability. In short, the Ranger LS-224C is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a low-profile, sturdy and multifunctional tripod.
The Leofoto LH-25 ball head: small and powerful at the same time!
The included LH-25 ballhead is just as versatile as the tripod itself. It rotates horizontally 360° and vertically 90° and is adjustable with a sturdy wing nut. Because the LH-25 is only 7 inches high, its center of gravity is low, which prevents vibration. The LH-25 has a universal 1/4" tripod screw, is CNC-machined from anodized aerospace aluminum and comes with the Arca-Swiss compatible PU-25 quick-release plate. The maximum carrying weight for the Leofoto LH-25 ballhead is 10 kilograms.

Condition guide
Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy.
- Like New – The equipment is in a condition as if you have just bought it from the manufacturer. The item is still considered to be ‘Like New’ even without the original packaging and accessories. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect working order. Lenses are optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. The product has been fully tested and is in perfect excellent order.
- Cameras – Should have no marks on the LCD screen
- Lenses – Should have no marks on the elements and optically clear. There may be light dust present that will not effect the imagery.
- Very Good – The equipment may have some slight cosmetic wear to the paintwork and cosmetic blemishes with only light signs of use and the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – The LCD screen may have small signs of wear that does not affect its display
- Lenses – The mount of the lens will start to show signs of wear
- Good – The equipment is showing more obvious signs of cosmetic wear and blemishes, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen may have scratches or wear that is starting to affect the display.
- Lenses – May have slight dust inside that does not affect images. The mount shows signs of use.
- Well Used – The equipment will show significant signs of wear. The paintwork will be coming away in large areas exposing the metal work, but the product has been fully tested and is in great working order.
- Cameras – LCD screen is heavily worn either by de-lamination or has scratches to it. Rubber grips are starting to come away from the body.
- Lenses – The lens has dust inside that may affect images. The rubber zoom/focus ring is coming away from the barrel of the lens.
