Here are a selection of the questions that we are frequently asked by our customers, please check below as the question you want to ask may already be answered here. We aim to reply to e-mails as quickly as possible, most questions are answered within a few business hours.
- Can we take off VAT to the Channel Islands?
We process many orders to the Channel Islands and are experienced in the deducation of VAT for these orders. We can not deduct the VAT from the delivery cost as we have to pay this cost to our delivery company.
- Will you price match against another retailer?
We do attempt to price match against UK retailers who do not grey import goods (import them from another country). If you would like to check whether we will match another retailer, please call 08450 50 22 66 during our opening hours (please see below). When you call, please be ready with the quote from the other retailer. We will need to know their web site address (if applicable), their delivery costs and whether or not the other retailer has the item in stock.
- Why should I buy from Park Cameras?

- Do the prices shown include VAT?
All prices on this website include VAT at 17.5% unless they strictly say otherwise.
- How long does it take for goods to be delivered?
Orders placed before 2.30pm Monday-Friday (excl Bank Holidays) are despatched the same day. For orders placed after 2.30pm, Park Cameras still aims to process orders immediately and to dispatch items the same day, but this can vary depending on seasonal demand. Credit card authorisation can mean that goods that are not ordered early enough in the day will be sent out the following day but we do our best to dispatch as soon as possible. All methods of delivery are next working day services, guaranteed before 5:30pm. If you need your goods delivered on a Saturday, or before a specific time, we can arrange this for you. The charges for this service can be found in the delivery section of our website.
- Can I reclaim the VAT?
We do operate the VAT reclaim scheme. However, completed VAT reclaim forms cannot be supplied for goods sent out by mail order. This is UK law but we are able to supply you with a form for purchases made in our branches. We supply this form free of charge for sales over £400. We have to see your passport and proof of address overseas and when you leave the country you need to get the form stamped at the airport and send the stamped form back to us.
- Where can I find a Park Cameras store?
Park Cameras currently has two stores, based in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath, Sussex. Both of which are surprisingly easy to find and get to from all over the country.
- Do you grey-import goods?
We only every deal with UK suppliers with UK guarantees and will never import goods from another country. This is why we believe that we will be one of the lowest prices for UK stockists for all types of camera equipment.
- Is interest free credit available on orders?
We have previously looked into offering interest free credit, however, we found it would be too expensive to offer and this would not enable us to continue offering our low prices.
- Do you offer part-exchange on equipment?
We will part-exchange used digital equipment which we deem to be in a saleable condition. Our used equipment page on the left hand side will show you the kind of equipment that we are currently selling and some guide prices. It also will give you the number for our used department
- What are the opening hours?
Our mail order centre and our stores in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill are open from 8.30 - 17:30 Monday to Saturday, not including bank holidays.
- Can you deliver to an alternative address from the invoice address?
Unfortunately due to the amount of fraudulent orders which take place on the Internet every day, we have to be careful to ensure that orders are not sent to or intercepted by someone else. To this end, we can only send goods to an address which is registered to your card. If you would like it sent to your place of work, you could try to get this work added to your card as a delivery address. We can not make exceptions to this rule, please call 08450 50 22 66 (see opening times above) for more details.
