School of Photography Testimonials
At Park Cameras we are justifiably proud of our School of Photography service but why just take our word for it?! Hundreds of people have now enjoyed and benefitted from one of our numerous courses and here is what just a few of them had to say:

I attended the Understanding 50D part II course on 15th July run by Anthony Sinfield and was very impressed with the clarity and the amount of information on the course.
Best regards

Just a few words of thanks for a day very well spent with you, looking over the 50D. I felt it sensible to spend a little extra time and cash in maximising my investment in the camera, and this was justified by the level and quality of your tutorial. I anticipate it will save me a lot of time blundering around and learning by mistakes.
I thought you explained - and de-mystified - the kit with great clarity, and I especially liked your advice on features to be ignored. "Too much information" is one of the plagues of the age we live in. So I am now looking forward to using the 50D with much greater initial confidence.
Though I am a fairly practised hand at integrated use of applications such as Photo Shop, QuarkXpress and MS Front Page for editorial purposes, I found your focus on getting the best out of the camera in the context of various relevant software improved my appreciation.
We touched briefly on my Canon EF 70-300 mm f4.0-5.6 IS USM lens and the way the barrel slides back from fully zoomed, especially when photographing aircraft above. Though I bought the lens from Park in January 2006 - and thus it's probably well out of warranty - my recollection is that it was always pretty free-running from new. (Presumably this is not a problem with the DO version.) My impression - from handling the display lens yesterday - is that Canon may have since tightened up the zoom. It might help if the lock were made applicable throughout the zoom range.
Anyhow, this is a characteristic I shall keep in mind as I cast around for a 400 mm zoom to improve my aircraft and wild life pictures.

As I had to leave in a hurry this is a quick note to say very many thanks for yesterday’s session which I found both helpful and useful. I’m already putting your guidance into practice and I’m sure yesterday will stand me in good stead for the 5D Mark II course on 21 August.
Having seen your demonstration of the PE 7 RAW editor I’m convinced it’s a good route to go down for starters. Perhaps I’ll look at Light Room later on. Sadly I’m not able to attend this Friday’s RAW course, but I’d like to do the next one if possible.
Many thanks again and see you soon, no doubt.
Best wishes

“I attended a course at Park Cameras, to find out about a digital camera, then came to another course on the D90, to find out how to turn it on! Followed it with another to try to get a grasp of Photoshop Elements 7.0. Bought a 70-300 lens for it!, with which you also helped! Thank you Anthony very much for all your help and encouragement.” |

| “Many thanks for your excellent tuition on the D300; I found it all so useful. Having studied the Field Guide and explored the menus over the last few weeks, your guidance was most helpful in understanding the details and the principal settings. I must also add that the facilities were also first class making it all very difficult to comment on the questionnaire! Thanks again for a most enjoyable day.” |

On reflection I just thought I would let you know how much I enjoyed your course today and it was very well presented.
I thought you would appreciate the feedback and look forward to many more!!

At Park Cameras School of Photography we ask every delegate to take the time to complete a short survey based on their time with Park Cameras. Each section is marked out of five and allows us to ensure that each course meets both our own and, more importantly, our customers, exceptionally high standards. Of our regular courses here are just a few of the average scores that we have been getting:
