While photography has changed since the Gear of the Year’s inception in 1985, the Awards have continued to recognise the great and the good of the industry – handing out prizes and accolades to the best and most innovative products and services.
 
In this 25th Anniversary year the format of the prize-giving is changing, although the Awards will continue to be decided by a combination of public vote and judging panel, made up of leading photographic retailers and our own testing experts.
