What is CPS?
Canon Professional Services is the membership-based programme designed to provide Canon professionals with information and support. By choosing to invest in Canon technology you have supported our ongoing commitment to innovation. CPS is our way of investing in you. This extensive range of background services is available free of charge to Canon’s professional camera and video users and is designed with information and support including the Canon Professional Network (CPN), a pan-European website and communication system.

CPN Network
The Canon Professional Network website (www.canon.co.uk/cps) is an invaluable resource for any professional. The site is continually updated with the latest news, tips from the pros, behind the lens features, in depth reviews, technical information and master classes. There you can find the latest firmware updates, information about obtaining CPS support within Europe, a dedicated section for professional video along with many exclusive offers and giveaways.
Personal Service
If your application is accepted you will be issued with a CPS membership card and number. This will identify you to your local Canon Professional Representative who will keep you informed of local events and seminars and can offer help and guidance should you require it.
Showing this card at major events where the Canon CPS Support Team is in place – such as the Olympic Games, Formula 1 Grand Prix and Fashion Weeks – will get you the professional support that you deserve.
Entry Requirements
CPS is designed for professional users and as such there are some entry qualifications:
CPS Photo
Members must own at least two professional Canon AF bodies and three Canon L-series lenses.
CPS Video
Members must own at least one of the following products: XH G1, XL H1S, XL H1A, or XH A1 purchased from the authorised Canon dealer.
