Pentax has recently announced a new firware update for it's K20D DSLR. This latest update, version 1.01, effectively addresses the problem whereby 'hot' pixels frequently appeared when the products two second self-timer function was used.

According to Pentax, this firmware update will, "minimise the noise when taking pictures when using the two second self timer mode."
