Wide angle zoom with Special Low Dispersion lenses and aspherical elementsIt has a variable angle of view of 69.3° 11.4°. A Special Low Dispersion (SLD) lens and two aspherical glass elements provides correction for various aberrations and produce a high level of optical performance through the entire zoom range. Close focusing and other features The 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC lens has a minimum focusing distance of 50cm (19.6”) at all focal lengths and is capable of macro photography with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:5.3. The non – rotating front element makes the lens particularly suitable for using the petal-shaped lens hood (supplied) and circular polarizing filters. The lens is equipped with a zoom lock which eliminates “Zoom Creep”.
