This true 1:1 macro lens is a short telephoto design that is also ideal for portraiture and wildlife closeups where you don't want to crowd your subject. As it inlcudes the i-Function feature you can manually adjust camera settings using the lens barrel alone, previewing any effects on the camera screen. The extra quiet ultrasonically activated focus is internal, so there's no rotation of the lens during focusing. In addition, full time manual focus allows you to override autofocus settings. Finally this lens is equipped with optical image stabilisation so you won't get shaky pictures.
