This one day workshop will give participants an insight into the fascinating world of close-up and macro photography with their DSLR camera. The day starts with a short presentation of macro & close-up photographs, followed by briefings on lighting, including the use of ring flash, off-camera flash and ambient/natural light; supporting your camera, shutter speed, aperture and depth of field. Throughout the day there will be practical opportunities to create some stunning close-up & macro images under the Ian's guidance. This workshop combines briefings with great emphasis placed on hands-on image making.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own Digital SLR and plenty of memory for what we hope will be informative day.
